Move safely

Last updated 29 October 2026

Burst is not medical advice, and we are not your doctor, physiotherapist or trainer. It shows general stretches and small movements. It knows nothing about your body, your history or your injuries.

Use your own judgement

Every movement in Burst is meant to be gentle and done at your desk. Even so, what is comfortable for one person is not comfortable for another. You are the only one who can feel what is happening in your body.

Talk to a professional first if any of this applies

Please get advice from a qualified clinician before using Burst if you:

If a movement makes an existing problem worse, stop using Burst and speak to someone qualified. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Assumption of risk

Physical movement carries inherent risk, however gentle. By using Burst you accept that you move at your own risk, and that you are responsible for deciding whether a given movement is appropriate for you on a given day.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Burst and RAMADAN & CO LTD are not liable for any injury, aggravation of an existing condition, or other loss arising from your use of the app or the movements it suggests. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Standing movements

Some movements ask you to stand, and some suggest holding your desk for support. Make sure you have clear space and something stable to hold. If your balance is at all uncertain, do the seated movements instead.
